Ok so my 22 mo old son since 2 months will not urinate until he wakes up in the morning so....every morning he will go, and go, and go (it seems like forever!) and wet the bed every morning unless I lay him on his back (and keep him there until he's finished). From about 8-19 months we started using Seventh Generation disposables overnight but for the past couple months that hasn't been working. Also about seven months ago he started wanting to use his potty when he woke up which of course eliminated the problem but sometimes I just don't want to have to feel we have to rush to the bathroom....snuggle times the best, don't want to rush!!! Anyway I am looking for a CD that is GREAT for overnight so I can stop washing the sheets every day! Thanks

PS We use motherease and have tried multiple liners, doubling diapers but it just doesn't work or look comfortable.

I really like Happy Heiny's with two stuff-ins for overnight for my heavy wetters. I never use pockets, but I own four of these now just to rotate them for night time. They worked well until DS1 potty learned. I should really start putting them on DS2 now. He could use 'em.

Okay, I hate it when people give "advice" that isn't asked for, but are you sure you want to discourage him from using the potty? I totally know what you mean about cuddle time (I really love it, too), but if you've got a kid who is asking to use the potty...are you sure you don't want to encourage that, and then just go back to bed? Apologies in advance if this is out of line.

No your not out of line!! Your right!! I guess now that he's older I should encourage him more!! But when he was 15 months I just felt badly because he was so young (even though HE was ASKING for it!) I guess I never discourage but if he doesn't ask I don't bring it up...I think too, I'm forgetting he's almost 2 (AHHHHH where did the time go) when he gets up it's probably appropriate to encourage going in the potty! I just have felt so guilty about him starting wanting to use the potty so young (at 9mo he would crawl to the toilet and stand up when he had to urinate!) I don't want to be perceived as a pushy mom when really I'm the one who's dragging my feet! Thanks for the,

I was just going to say this!
Even with my PLed 2.5 year old, we just bring her to the potty and then run back to bed to snuggle under the sheets!
