Help with roasted veggies in dutch oven

I'm wanting to make roasted veggies in my dutch oven tonight, but I'm not sure what to do
:

This is what I was thinking of putting in there. Turnips, carrots, onion, tomato, potato. What else would taste good? What spices should I add?

Now the technical questions. Should I drizzle olive oil on everything? How hot should I make the oven? How long to cook?

Thanks

You'd probably have better results roasting them on a cookie sheet... about 15-20 minutes at 450 degrees F. I'd do olive oil, salt, and pepper at least.

Roasting them on a cookie sheet vs a dutch oven would give you a better exterior result.
Thanks, I think I'll try the cookie sheet like you suggested.
I use a cookie sheet (stoneware). I learned from a foodnetwork cook
to use butter AND olive oil, and it is SO YUMMY! Toss all veggies in the melted butter and olive oil, salt and pepper, and roast anywhere from 400-450 - it takes an hour for mine to be done. I'm sure it depends on the size of the veggie chunks.
