I live in central ohio(not sure of the zone) and am thinking about planting my spring bulbs. However, I do this every fall and the squirrels eat them almost immediately! Does anyone have ideas on how to keep the <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/Cuss.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="cuss"> critters away??

i think you are supposed to plant daffodils in the same holes with the tulips to keep the critters away naturally. (plus, they look nice together-- especially if you use red tulips.)

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm going to try them both!<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/flower.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="flower">

You could also pick up some fine chicken wire or mesh and lay it over your newly planted beds--I've done that in the past and it works great.
