Mama's I'm at my wits end...my ds (6mo) will not stop screaming. He has been crying all day. He's fed (won't eat), clean diaper, won't sleep, hyland's'ed, everything I can think of.

I can't call anyone for help because I'll just hear "Then let him cry" in fact I just called my mom and she said let him cry. I don't know what to do. I'm so stressed right now! HELP!!!

Can you go for a walk? Outside in the yard or sidewalk or whatever? Carride? A bath? I'm just thinking of things that worked for my ds when I was at my wit's end. Take off all his clothes and put him on a blanket outside? This too shall pass, sorry you all are having a bad day .. deep breaths ..

Whew...just got him calmed down...we did end up going for a walk and about halfway through the 2nd lap around the block he was fast asleep in his wrap. He's still strapped to my chest, but thats just fine! So long as he isn't bawling anymore! I hate the CIO advice soooo much! James is usually such a happy baby that I don't know how to deal with crying fits that nursies won't fix! LOL

nak
ideas: sling him and vaccuum or mow the lawn (the noise is soothing)
take his temp (maybe he is teething? or sick?)
if you've really done everything, just hold him and love him until someone can come give you a hand

i dont know why he'd cry so much, just wanted to give some ideas and because im sure you are so stressed. hang in there!!

I like all of the pp suggestions but was going to add a new one as well since my dd some times cries like that - I put on soothing music and dance with her. If she is not too overstimulated the motion and my singing calms her down...Good luck and hang in there!!!

P.S. - If you've tried this already just tune my response out...ha ha...get it? TUNE it out? Sorry...teething babe and no sleep equals one wacky Mama! Hope tomorrow is better for you and your little one!
