I discovered tea while pg. I love loose tea, and have the nifty strainer tea pot. But now that baby is 1 year old I don't really want to drink pg tea or MMT anymore. I would like more recipes for nourishing and tasty blends. Suggestions?
My favorite is spice tea - grated fresh ginger (I freeze it, so it's easy to grate), cracked cardamon pods, a dash of cinnamon, and about 10 whole cloves. I boil for about five minutes and then drink with honey or sugar. Yum!
I LOVE the taste of nettle tea - but not everyone does. Oatstraw is another nourishing herb that adds a bit of sweetness. You can also add a pinch of spearmint or stevia to your tea blends.
Have a peek at the tea blends at Mt. Rose for some ideas: http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/tea_bev/tea_bev.html
Cheers!

Well, my go to herb blend is a uterine tonic/liver tonic/women's reproductive system tonic which probably is very similar to pg tea. Nettle, rrl, red clover, and either chamomile or peppermint.
