DD has a nasty cold and her ped suggested I give her warm juice or a herbal tea to help break the congestion. The problem is that she didn't mention which herbal tea I could try.

I have pomegranate tea, raspberry leaf tea, some other various fruit teas, and mint in my pantry. Would any/all of these be OK to give to dd 18mos old? Any suggestions on what would be helpful to buy when I go the store next time? So far I have stuck to the warm juice but she doesn't seem to enjoy it much and I;m a bit worried she's not getting enough liquids. (I am giving her chicken broth too since she's not much into solids right now and she still nurses but only at night).

TIA, Kim

Hyssup and licorice root are a really good combo for breaking up congestion. You could and in some colt's foot, and/or red raspberry leaf which is good for fighting off infection.
