Hi! We just moved to the Frederick County area (in New Market) and I was wanting to try some herbal tinctures and other natural remedies for my family, but I am not sure if there is any local place to buy them. We had a few places to go when we lived in AA County and I think there are places I can order them online, but I was just wondering if there was some place local....anyone out here know of anything?<br><br>

Welcome to Frederick!<br><br><a href="http://www.rootsmkt.com/" target="_blank">Roots</a> down in Clarksville has bulk herbs also. I couldn't tell you the price difference compared to Common Market. It is a nice drive down 32.<br><br><a href="http://theowlnestonline.com/" target="_blank">The Owl Nest</a> also has some herbs but I've never bought from them so can't say how the quality is. They are in the same complex as Common Market.<br><br><a href="http://www.myorganicmarket.com/retailer/store_templates/shell_id_1.asp?storeID=A6B40AE98C7842A98FC8DE4784880288" target="_blank">M.O.M.'s</a> just opened and I know their other locations have bulk herbs and in general their prices are really good, but I've only been to their Frederick location once since they opened and I don't remember if I saw any herbs or not. While the space seems bigger than Rockville, it also seems like there is less of a selection...it's weird. But they also have a fairly new location in Jessup which looks huge. I haven't been there yet though.<br><br>
When I'm buying large quantities I usually buy online from <a href="http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/" target="_blank">Mountain Rose Herbs</a>.
