-my ds, that is-

he's only 4 months, but he is doing so many things, and showing independence in so many ways... oh my, I can't believe it's almost
solids time... is anyone else feeling sad because our babies grow so fast?
also, PPAF arrived today... see, now I feel I am not in the "post-partum" stage anymore (I know it's only like 6 weeks but before PPAF arrived It still
felt like PP to me) oh no... on to have another baby? lol...

It's so hard when they start growing and becoming independant. You would think that with this being my third, I'd be used to it by now, but every new thing she does gets to me a little more. I want her to stay a baby!

Just wait until he starts sitting up
I was so sad the other day, because I was thinking that my baby isn't a BABY any more.

I know that he really IS still a baby, but I totally know what you mean. They grow sooooo fast.

My dd is turning one next week and it has me close to tears. I'm just not ready for this!!! Since she's learned to walk, she wants to be on her own, won't let me hold her hand or lead her in a public place, and is so fiercely independent!!

If I hide from her birthday, will it not happen?

Oh mamas, what shall we do?

Maybe it IS time for another!

Carmen. My ds is also 4 months old and I know what you mean. I wish I could just hug my little angel 24/7.

I know how you feel oh so well! ds is also 4 months old and I wish he could just stay the way he is forever! =) I am trying to drink in all his babyness now because I know time flies by so fast..
please...you want to hear something completely ridiculous...? my baby is eleven days old and i have been trying to memorize every moment, and feel sort of shocked the birth went by so quickly and now here we are...time flying by. this is my second and last baby (unless i want to find a new husband lol) so it is all so precious and almost bittersweet.
we only named him today!

awww... that's so sweet, what did you name him? how did you refer to him before today? that must be funny.... but yes, it was just yesterday when I delivered my son.

he's called rowan john devereux-smith- thanks for asking! until last night he was "the baby"- of course that's how you refer to them for months anyway. in my head i was calling him rubin but that just wasn't really us. i figure that's ok bc reuben means "behold a son" so it makes sense to have thought of him as such for a few days.
awwww how cute!!!!!!!! congratulations!
My little one is 5 weeks and I am already noticing how different he looks from a newborn. Of corse he already weighs 12pounds 6 ounces, so he looks big next to other babies. He is my third and during my pregnancy I thought my last, but now that he is here the idea of him being my last newborn makes me want to cry. My husband thinks I'm nuts, but I love babies and being pregnant and yes giving birth. I am only 28, I don't have to be done yet, and the bigger kids really want a baby sister so we may just have to try again.

Robyn wife to Eric, mama to Raven 6 1/2, Dakota 4 and Zebulon my little fatty!!!

me too! I just love babies, being pregnant, giving birth, all of it!
I don't ever imagine saying I'm done... I still have about 40 years to have kids (I'm only 20) so mm, let's see, one every 2 years? that's 10 kids. plus the 2 that I already have.... a dozen! how perfect! lol
Oh I know!! Orion is only 9 months old and I'm feeling the baby-lust again!
*Just* these last two weeks he's learned to crawl, pull up on furniture, AND walk a few steps holding onto furniture as well as walking if we hold his hands! Where did my baby go?!?!

Ugh, right there with you feeling the bittersweetness of motherhood. I look at my 3 yr old and don't know where the time went. Now my 4 month old is becoming less and less a baby.

I want to just keep having more.
I do feel good since we want up to 4 children, so I can experience this time a few more times
