Ds is 28 months, and not talking yet. I have posted about this before on here, as I go back and forth on whether or not to be concerned. He'll repeat sounds that we say, like "ding", or "boom." But he absolutely has no nouns whatsoever.

Lately, he has started making up his own language. Instead of yes, he says something like "da da" or "ta ta". When he wants dh to pick him up and swing him around he says "eeee eeee, da." He will say the same long jibberish sentence to me over and over, and I have no idea what he is saying.

Is this a stage on the way to regular speech, or is he going in the wrong direction?
