Hi everyone, I thought I would introduce myself as I likely will be joining you.

I just got 3 faint BFPs. I'm 13dpo by my calculations, and they are so faint I'm hesitant to be excited. Also got a bfn on a digi, compounding my hesitancy

I have 2 other children, and my tests with them were much darker at this point. I'm hoping it is all fine, but I can't help but be nervous!!

DDCC -

First I must ask what brand test you are using?

Second, I MUST give you my story.

DD I had a bfp at 6dpo. Understandably by 13dpo my tests were DARK DARK DARK!

This time around (which will be DD2) I did not get even a faint BFP until 13dpo and most people who do not constantly stare at pregnancy tests would not even see the line!

Both totally healthy pregnancies. Both very much correct with dates.

Every pregnancy can be different, even in the same woman!

Something as simple as implanting later or having a slower metabolism than you did before can make a HUGE difference on when you get your BFP

Wow thank you MaerynPearl that is so reassuring! I used an Answer hpt (x2) and FRER (x1). The digital was a Clear Blue Easy.

I plan on testing again with another CBE digi in the morning, and then the other FRER if I get another bfn.

oh my no worries!

I used a CBE and a FRG (first response gold) in the SAME pee... got a YES+ with FRG and a NOT PREGNANT from the CBE but very much pregnant (almost 30 weeks so yeah...)

http://canyouseealine.com/hpts/5182.jpg <---these were my tests on 15dpo

http://canyouseealine.com/hpts/5152.jpg <--- and 13dpo (that is a BFP! really... I know its super faint but as I said... it was SO faint most people would never have seen it... it was my first line and they just got darker from there)

I didnt get a PREGNANT on a CBE until 17dpo.

and I am 100% certain on my dates, I had been charting for 2 years and it was a very normal cycle with O happening the same day as always.

It is my experience that FRER (and ANSWER brand) do not lie...

If they were blue dye tests I would question it (they have given a lot of false positives lately) but definitely trust those brands!

Thank you! I do feel a lot better from reading your HPT odyssey, especially knowing I still may see a negative on the CBE tomorrow. Hopefully the FRER will be a little darker though!

hi rn mommy . I also had very faint tests-- I don't want to go crazy spending money on tests so I may just wait it out. I ovulated very early in my cycle so AF should be due end of this week. If no AF by monday I will assume I'm in the clear.

The first test, I did not see the line at first because I think I am in need of bifocals ... I am 36 but I have horrible vision. Anyway I looked at it later in the day and there was a very obvious line.

So I retested and this time could see the faint line-- oh so faint though.

I have never had a faint false positive, even on a blue dye test that sat around all day, plus I've had a couple of my hallmark pregnancy symptoms... still feel in limbo though.

Hi frugalmom, take a seat next to me on the "wait and see train" If you haven't missed AF yet, I would definitely expect your tests to be light! Today was the absolute last day I would have expected to see AF, though yesterday was my "normal" day to start, by LP and cycle length.

Actually, as of today (well tomorrow, since I still have 2 tests) I will be waiting and seeing. This morning I did test again, 3 times actually FMU FRER was much lighter than it was yesterday. Which worried me of course, so I didn't drink anything until 10am, and then did another FRER which was as dark, or maybe a tad darker than yesterdays(still plently light though overall). Then I used a First Response digital, which gave me a great big NO-

So, all that to say nothing has really changed from yesterday...I'll use my last two tests tomorrow, and after that so long as AF doesn't show I'll just proceed with making midwife appt/telling DP etc.
