Hi there y'all. I wanted to introduce myself, my name is Amanda, and I live in Memphis with my husband of 10-someodd months, Brandon. We just started TTC in March and have found ourselves just a couple of weeks pregnant. I am giving the baby a lot of love & good vibes in hopes of sticking, and getting in contact with midwives.

We have actually been planning on moving from Memphis to my family's land in rural West Tn at the end of this year, to establish a farm to sustain us gastroenomically, emotionally, and spiritually. It is something we have felt the call to do for sometime, but it's a big step to make for us, and a little nervewracking! I have faith that everything will be fine as long as we work hard and do everything with a lot of love.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi and make some connections!

Hi from just north of Memphis. There's something to be said for the simple life. What a nice plan. I'm sure it will be lots of hard work but so very satisfying. I'm up about 40 minutes north of Memphis, close to Millington, in a mostly rural area. I'm not from around here, but this is my second time to live here - last time was actually in Memphis. DH is military, so we'll be here for two more years.

Congratulations on the pregnancy!!! We're going to start TTC #2 in the next few weeks.
