<p>EEEK!  *haha*  Really, I plan on sitting on this one until February, so maybe I am a little less 'eeek' than others in the DDC...  But still, it seems like only yesterday that our DDC was at the bottom of the list.  Now we're nearing the top.  YOWZA!</p>

<p>I keep a "countdown" going each week on Facebook and recently had to mention that I could go anywhere in the next 6-10 weeks.... seriously??? 6-10 weeks? That's nothin!</p>

<p>We have nothing done, and something keeps telling me I need to really get to cleaning the house and clearing out the room and putting the crib up. Like I feel a weird pressure to do it within the next week or two. At the latest, I have 7-8 weeks. It was really freaky planning the rest of my appts with the midwife. Don't know about anyone else, but having a baby over the holidays is kind of screwing up the schedule, lol!</p>

<p>ok so here is my deal.  If this little one comes the same time DD did I have exactly 4 weeks and 4 days.  AND... Big Daddy is going out of state for 3 weeks next week for work.  so he will be home 7 days before the gestation that DD came.  EEK! so the whole terrible uncomfortable part of pregnancy he won't be here.  He will however be working 12 hour days 7 days a week so it isn't like he is having fun.</p>

<p>Yeah, I'm getting nervous b/c I'm so unprepared. I "assume" I won't be early since DS was a week late. But u never know...</p>
<p>Plus we r having family here the week before and after Christmas. Cleaning/being a good hostess is just the last thing that I'll feel like doing.</p>

<p>Omgosh I know! If this one comes at the same gestation as ds (and I really really hope he doesn't since ds was in the NICU for 3 weeks) we'd only have 4 weeks! EEEEP!</p>

<p>knowing i'll go to 38 weeks at the most is a mixed blessing.. on the one hand, i know when katie will be here. on the other hand, it's a real OMG moment when you see that counting down!</p>

<p>Yes, it is really becoming a reality that our babes are going to be here before we know it!  I am scheduled for an RCS (please, no bashing....planned due to clotting issues, multiple previous losses and borderline GD) and our date is scheduled for December 27 (38 +4), which is just a little over 4 weeks away!</p>

<p>tracy, i hope nobody's giving you a hard time about the RCS.. i'm having one too, and nobody's said boo about it *hugs* haven't booked the date yet so who knows.. i'll be happy to get the date though so my planning can be a bit more definite </p>

<p>I totally understand having RCS! My mom had two (me and my brother). We still don't know if it was really "necessary" or not...but are sure it was probably a "better safe than sorry" kind of thing. (She'd had an IUD implant previously and had it surgically removed and her OB wasn't sure about labor)</p>

I'm also late jan, so it seems a while away... but whew! this pregnancy has gone fast!<br><br>
No one should give anyone a hard time about RCS-- Our birth choices are just that, <i>our</i> choices!

<p>and sometimes, that choice is out of our hands. they don't do vbacs in my town, so RCS it is. nobody better give me a hard time about it cause really.. there's no other option for me here. i would love to attempt a vbac but it's not in the cards. i've made peace with it.</p>
