Me too! I feel very dissconnected from my friends from college. And a lot of it is because we are extended breastfeeders and AP. They really don't get it.

I officially worship you- I love that you write regularly, write about mothering- write about things that matter to so many people who are hungry for it.

I love that I know you in person, even if it's only once a month at a playgroup.

Writing is so intimate, it's hard for me to do with any regularity.

I loved it .. and completely agree about the friends comment. I would only add that I felt the same way about my friends from work. I had hoped that they too would stick around but shortly after I left to be a SAHM, those close late night friendships that bonded over 2 am Chinese food in a conference room were more distant than my occasional hello to the lady at the post office.

I hope you'll post some more of your writings soon - you've got quite a talent!

It's between Key Arena and the Snoqualmie rooms. You go behind the main sidewalk near the Key and there is a fountain wading pool. I am not really sure it's used all year for a wading pool, but there are steps leading into it so I think it's okay to use!

And yes, this is the location for the breastfeeding event. We are TOTALLY going to be there.
