Now that spring is almost here, let's plan something for April. I'm going crazy for adult contact here! Maybe an afternoon picnic at a park. Or maybe Ijams. I keep meaning to get there. Or the zoo. Or isn't there a children's museum in Oak Ridge? Other than Easter weekend and the first weekend in May, I have nothing going on until Memorial Day.

Count me in! I think Ijams or Holston Hills Park are great places for kids to go (and me too).

Question for you all-I need help distributing my Holistic Moms flyers all over town. I have a list of about 30 places I would like them to go (when I get them all printed and such, this will be about 3 more weeks) so if any of you can do ANY of this with me, please let me know. Even if you can take flyers to one place that is still one more place that moms/dads can get the word about the Open House and the website (open house date and time are still being figured out, but I am shooting for the first week in May and make it a Mothers Day theme with massage therapists and tea for all!).

Anyone? Please just e-mail me at [email protected] if you can help. Again, even if it's just a flyer here and there to a couple spots that would be great. It would be awesome if you could take the flyers to 5 spots on the list and I break it up evenly amoung lots of you (I have about 5 people already willing to help!).

Sounds good to me! What is this Ijams of which everyone is speaking? Zoo is dine, tho I have a feeling that field trips are about to explode now that it's getting nicer out.

You're probably right about the zoo getting busier, although Ijams might have the same issue.

Are you using cloth on you little girlie? For some reason, I am thinking you are, but I could be going crazy too.

Anyway, depending on what you use and if she's still in smalls, I have some stuff you can have.

Hey guys, I found a moms group that meets on Wed here in Knox and they are great! All the moms with younger kids are nursing, one I met last week is nursing a 28 month old, many use slings, eat naturally and a lot of other health-smart stuff.

LMK if you want the e-mail link to join the group, Karen the group leader will put you on the mailing list for info on Wed activities (today was library play and zoo, next week is Easter egg hunt!).

I am up for Ijams or zoo too, we love them both.

We are using cloth. Mainly prefolds and I have some kissaluvs size 0 that I *love*. I will gladly take anything that you want to unload.

I am big on hand-me-downs. Well, you already know that from the maternity clothes.

I never really *got* the excitement and love for cloth until I used it. Now, we love it!

Heather, I'd really like the email link to the mom's group too.

And lmk when you'd like to start doing flyers. I can take some to LLL, AP, libraries, my church...

I have the Holistic Moms Network open house dates SET!!!

Monday June 5th at the Fountain City Library from 10:30-12:30 and Wed June 7th at Earthfare from 5:30-7:30 pm.

Just thought I would say hey to all the Knox mommas! Don't know if you all knew but about 3 weeks ago we moved to CALIFORNIA!!!!! Crazy no? Anyhoo- we got here fine and Liam's loving it and Fiona should be making her debut in roughly 4 weeks!!! I hope that everyone has a blast this spring/summer and know that I will be thinking of you all. And if anyone is ever in the area visiting or what not, let me know and I will be more than happy to cook ya dinner (we are 10 minutes from San Francisco in BEAUTIFUL Marin county)

Holy cow! First, I didn't even know you were pregnant again! Where have I been ? (Oh wait, chasing 2 toddlers.) And moving across the country, wow! We'll miss you, but I'm glad you're happy there.

Okay, what day works for everyone? I was thinking Tuesday the 25th or Thursday the 27th, but any day works for us.
