THanks for the b-day wishes

So yesterday, I had a MOB of kids at my house to do mother's day crafts and make pizzas. I made my half WW crust, and roasted veggie sauce (with tomatoes to taste/look familiar) and seriously they devoured them. And we had smoothies with banana blueberries and spinach, honey and greek yogurt. $100 at Michales for crafts supplies, and feeding them all, THAT is my gift to all my mama friends LOL. We did decoupage vases with tissue papers, scrap book pages that they cut out shapes from, and other little decals then I painted a coat of the shimmer. They are so cute, anyways....

I am totally addicted to cauliflower. I could eat a whole head every meal LOL. There's a restaurant supply place that has really good produce on the cheap and I get my organic spinach there, and some other stuff that i eat a lot of.

I went back to pureeing cauliflower, carrots, sweet potatoes, spinach and a couple other things in my vitamix. I seriously have noticed a difference in DD's disposition during the day when she is very full of nutrients. They DO eat veggies, but of course they are little, and sometimes a bowl of sauce or soup looks better than a plate of veggies. I'm cool wtih that. I'm kinda thrilled, because she LOVES paninis with sourdough, and she uses like a half a cup of ketchup lol.....i've been putting exactly half sweet potato/carrot puree in the ketchup and she LOVES it. I wish i could make ketchup as good as the nasty stuff. *I* love homemade ketchup, but they don't

I got these really awesome popsicle molds from williams sonoma. ONly takes like 15 mintues to freeze. It only makes 6 at a time and they are spendy so probably won't get another one for a while but yesterday I made pineapple banana orange, and put carrot puree in it. I think DD reacts to coconut i'm not sure, so I've been using greek yogurt a lot.

Had an AWAESOME workout monda;y, my lats are still a little sore, doing legs and shoulders today. I met a REALLY nice guy, like the buddy kind, he sure is a looker though LOL....but i'm comfortable workin out with him cause he's not ridiculous like some of those gym rat types. I am GOING to lunge with that 80 pound barbell tonight!

Ryleigh's mama - I think you're freakishly strong LOL.....you can get 40 pound dumbells up yourself?! I have to have someone help me push them up in to position, and then I can do 2-4 reps now. The 35 's are now like the 30's used to be (i can do 4 ses of 10) but it took near 4 shoulder workouts. One little tip on gaining strength. Take maybe 2 workouts, skip the dumbell presses first heavy, and do military press with a rack and a spotter if possible. It's a little more compound since you can rely on your whole upper body not one side at a time. Do a warm up wthi the bar, then pyramid up and do 4 working sets of like 10, 6, 6, 4. Do your dumbell presses at the end purposely lighter, don't even try to do the heavy ones. Then after 2 workouts like that go back to doing heavy dumbell press and see if you can do heavier/more on your own. I like doing that cause it's kind of fun to anticipate and then see it work. I always do military press AND dumbell press but i get sick of using the same darn weight and this worked.
