I got two HH prints (and stuffins) for the babe. Used them both once with stuffins and the cover got wet really fast (once, in half an hour). Tried putting in a cpf, better, but still leaks to outside.
Finally, tried polar fleece prefolds and still the cover got wet. Normally, we use cpfs with proraps or bummis, or wool, and they work great. What am I doing wrong?

Could you fleece be repelling? I have recently had this problem. Try washing with dish soap and then doing several rinses.

Are they brand new? I've heard that you need to wash the HHs in hot water and dry in a hot dryer in order to seal the PUL.

I shoulda thoughta that!

I think the main problem is I didn't dry them ( I was trying to be nice, they are sooo cute).

I'm going to dry them right now, (they are in the wash) and wash the stuffins. If that doesn't work, I'll look into repelling fleece.

i boiled my stuffins to help break them in faster (20-30 min) then washed and dried on hot 4 x. good luck!

Whoops, hemp needs up to 8 full washes and dries before it is fully absorbent. Boiling does break them in a bit faster..
