Good evening, all! My name is Megan and I'm a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design studying Fibers. I've been lurking at MDC for a while now, absorbing everything I can about "alternative" parenting methods, natural childbirth, and especially Waldorf education. Thanks to MDC I now consider myself a lactivist, intactivist, and future CD-er!

I have no children (only 20 and still two years of college left), but my boyfriend of four years and I are planning to get engaged this summer, married after he graduates (2012), and then babes sometime after that. Quite a long way away, but I look forward to every step!

It's nice to meet you all and finally become an official part of MDC!

Hi, I'm Norrah!
I have a BA in English and am currently working at a local law firm as a legal assistant.

I also haven't any little ones....yet. But my sister (one little girl and other baby on the way) got me hooked on this site.

I love love love the natural approach to mothering and simple way of living, and I'd like to bring my (future) children up in such an environment.

My boyfriend and I have been together almost a year and we talk about getting married and raising kids quite often. We both have nieces and nephews that we adore and are just waiting until the time is right for us.
I've been reading all I can about pregnancy, natural childbirthing (working on 'Ina May's guide to Childbirth'), and mothering.
Guess I'm just getting a head start....
