I guess I will join in, better late then never right!

My name is Clara, I'm 27 and due with my second daughter January 31st. 29 weeks along now. I had an ultrasound today because I was measuring 35 weeks. But the baby was measuring 29 weeks, and I have normal amniotic fluid levels... So all is well :)

I also wanted some input on a name. We'd like to name our daughter Brianna Alaina. I'm kinda worried about all the A's, but then I figure when does anybody really call the child both names at the same time?

Thanks for reading

Welcome!

As for the name, and saying them both at the same time.... I tend to do that...

My boys both know I'm serious when I use both of their names. Personally, I would stay away from that many A's, but if you love it, stick with it! I love the name Alaina, I have a cousin with that name, and have always liked it. Alaine Jane.

Hello! Nice to meet ya! Nice to know there will be another mama hanging around at the end of the month. :) I am due late January, as well as being an over-baker... It gets lonely in the DDC towards the end of the birth month, *haha*

Pretty name... That IS a lot of A's! But very pretty. While I am not HUGELY into numerology, I wonder what it would have to say about all those vowels? I think Alaine is a gorgeous name. :D

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

Strongbeliever, I hate being due this late in the month! We'll probably have to sit and watch as everyone else has their babies... But oh well, they will get here eventually :)

There is kind of a story behind the name... Brianna and Alaina are on both my husband and mine's favorite names list. The only reason why I didn't pair them together to actually be our daughter's name was because of all the A's.

But yesterday at our doctor's appointment, our 3 year old daughter walks up to the wall filled with baby announcement cards and says "I'm going to pick my baby sisters name"

She looked at the pictures for a couple of seconds, and then pointed to a baby girl named "Brianne Alaina" We were like this:

So anyway, it would be kind of cool to be able to tell DD that she got to pick her sister's name :)
