My name is Tiffany and I am mom to Brendan (3) and Evalyn "Evvy" (5months). I've been married to DH, Aaron, for five years.
I know Kira from this board, but I don't think I know anyone else. I'm in Ohio, which is not exactly the crunchiest place on earth. I am currently BFing my DD and will continue to do so until she weans herself. I BF Brendan for 4 weeks, developed mastitis and was hospitalized twice for it. The ignorant LC I had told me I should probably stop BFing.

Of course I thought she knew best, but I still tried to BF again after that. He would throw up because I was drinking tons of cow's milk---I know that now. So I cried forever and felt like a failure and it still bothers me to this day. Then there's the circ thing. He was, I wish he wasn't. Ignorance is not bliss. It's stupid.
So now I am BFing Evvy, we are co-sleeping, baby wearing, not CIO, and I will make her food when I start her on solids. I do vax and I don't cloth diaper, but I have lots of respect for those who do. I think that's as far as my crunchiness goes, but I LOVE this site!!!!!! I've already told one of my friends about it---she would fit right in!
I hope to learn more about all the different aspects of natural parenting.
