I currently have a New Native and that is it. I used it while at the beach on my 5 month old 14lb daughter. I like it a lot, but she will soon be too big for it even though it does say up to 30lbs. So my Q is what are the luxe slings...the Mercedes of slings out there?

She's in a cradle like carry...in which she throws her leg over the side when she feels like it. it's perfect for right now and I like how it's chic and stylish being all black. I was looking at the Hug-a-bub. In Berry and hazelnut or all black too. Is this a good sling for the money? I just do not know if I like the ones with a bunch of fabric.

I don't know anything about the Hug-a-bub firsthand, but people who have it generally like it. I think the Mercedes of slings would probably be the Zolo, and the silk EBMT would be, like, the Jaguar.

I second the Hug A Bub love

It is like a tee shirt material and seems very simple, but it is oh so comfy and fairly light and easy to use for a wrap, and I am so anxious to try it out with a newborn
