Yes I believe it is alot harder having your kids a year apart. At first we wanted all of children close in age but we quickly learned that maybe it wasn't such a good idea after all. I feel like there is always one child that isn't getting the attention that he or she should be getting. I am hoping that this will change as they get older, but right know I am just going to have to keep seeing a sad face in the background who is wondering why mommy isn't watching them dance or looking at the picture they have drawn .

Welcome Maggie!

My DH and I are "high school sweethearts", but you and your DH I guess are "preschool sweethearts"

Just like others said - Gentle Discipline board - I am learning so-o-o much there and it already made it easier for me to understand/communicate/guide my DD!

Irinam
Yes I guess you could say we were preschool sweethearts ( our mothers were best friends well until we started dating) everyone thinks I am crazy when I tell them that I knew at 8yrs old that he was the man I was going to marry I can remember the exact moment, I longed for the day I turned 16 so we could officialy start dating.......2 months later we were engaged and 1 1/2 years after that we were married.

Darcy37
I think that children should be 3 to 5 years apart so you are able to give them the attention they need. and I was told that you could get pregnant well breastfeeding but I don't know about if you haven't started your monthly yet but I am sure it is because I knew a girl that got pregnant 2 weeks after giving birth so I think it is very possible

Thanks
