my son gets them often as well. I let him nurse and they are usually gone in few minutes.

I'm interested in seeing what others say .....

take care and enjoy your day!

At the hospital when my babies were born the pediatrician said not to worry about hiccups, that the babies didn't care and they were harmless. . . Well, they certainly seemed to care sometimes! It would be like "Hic! whimper, whimper Hic! whimper whimper. . ." A nurse at the hospital told me that nursing would get rid of them. I'd say it worked about 95% of the time.

Luke had hiccups a lot in the womb, and a lot in the first 5-6 months outside. Jaz rarely had them in the womb, and rarely had them after. Neither of them has had them in months. . . perhaps this is something they grow out of? Although I still get them quite a bit myself!

DD had them in the womb, too, and now at 7 1/2 weeks gets them many times a week. Like the others, nursing usually stops them. Sometimes she gets them after she nurses, so I feel like it's a sign of satisfaction.

When we're out and about, people comment how cute they are. They are, I think!
