When my midwife was here my BP was 130/86. Pre-pregnancy it was 116/74ish. Grrrrr. I have taken it several times in the last week and its always in the 130/80's range. I just took it now and it was 138/88.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I called my midwife and she told me to rest and take it easy and limit the salt and eat more fruit and veggies. so...

I called a CNM who works out of a hospital too. I feel like at this point i need to atleast start duel care. With me freaking out about the homebirth, and now having high blood pressure I'm gonna listen to my body and talk to someone.
I'm feeling kinda sad right now.

There are some really good, low dose, beta blockers that you can take that will bring your bp down, if it gets any higher. I don't believe it would take away your home birth plan...

Yes definitely rest, put your feet up, eat things with little or no salt, and don't drink energy or electrolyte drinks. Lying on your left side will sometimes bring the bp down in the doc's office.
