Dh went to the Dr. today and they had a discussion about fibre - dh wants to start eating more of it. We are eating low starch right now - just a couple of servings a day - so I need non starch sources. Which veggies are highest in fibre?
DH just had a fiber discussion with his doc too. Foods I found that are high in fiber that DH likes are berries, greens (mustard, turnip, etc), kale, beans, chick peas, and of course the whole grains (barely etc).
Bran really doesn't have any of the starch in it from the grain, it's just the bran part. And it's really nutritious too! It can be added to a lot of stuff.
