OK- the saga. I tested positive at 11 DPO with both the internet cheapies and a digital- had a period at 13DPO and assumed it was an extremely early miscarriage. BUT my temps are still where they were in the second half of my cycle and they haven't yet dropped.<br>
Should I worry? Wonder? Re-test? Last time I charted through a miscarriage, my temperatures dropped straight away. AF was lighter than usual, shorter than usual and completely symptomless as well...

I have heard that some people still experience AF even though they are pregnant. I would test again to be sure.

I agree. A friend of mine thought she was 4-5 weeks pregnant because of when she last had her period. When she went to the doctor's she was actually 11 weeks pregnant and had still been getting her period. Take another test to be sure.

I also agree. A lot of women experience bleeding some time during their first trimester that they mistake for AF. If your temps are high, I bet you are still pregnant.

I bled with my first, every 29 days, regular as clockwork, but I put that down to the fact that I was taking bcp at the time. (unplanned pregnancy.) I think I'm going to test tomorrow if my temperature's still up, and if that comes back with a bfn, I'm going to make an appointment with the GP who teaches fertility awareness and see if she can explain it.

It is <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">, but it's still very faint and this would be 19 DPO now <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad"> So I could be pregnant, or I could have just miscarried- which I knew. Looking at it rationally, I have 40 weeks of worry ahead of me if I am up the duff, another week won't hurt me if I'm not.

I am in exactly the same position. Had a full-on period at 29 dpo and my temps are still high. I mean there were clots and everything just can't imagine I could be pregnant after what came out of me. Can anyone share what temps generally do after an early miscarriage? Maybe that is what happened. Still trying to fathom how women who are pregnant can get periods, just doesn't make sense to me.<br><br>

I started charting the day after twin 1 was born, 17 hours before twin 2 was born and my temperatures were down from post-O levels by then, though I was still testing positive. This is really unusual for me.<br>
OMOM, I haven't yet got round to frogging the sweater I knitted the twins- it's going to be socks, unless I give it away to someone else in the meantime.
