"Composting 101 and the Basics in Rainwater Collection"
Join us for an evening with Susan Yochelson, outreach coordinator for Salem Sound Coast Watch
(part of the Greenscapes coalition) and Curtis Dragon, arborist and organic landscaper with over 30
years experience, as we learn how and why to compost, how to be a successful composter, how to make
compost tea (the most effective natural fertilizer), and how and why to capture rainwater.
This is a free event. The Holistic Moms Network (www.holisticmoms.org) is a non-profit support and discussion network for parents with an interest in natural/holistic and alternative health and parenting. Our goal is to develop a thriving local community of holistic parents with a wide range of interests: non-toxic living, holistic healing, whole foods, natural childbirth, positive discipline, cloth diapering, living green, stress reduction, creating balance, organics.
