Oh how funny! I remember, as a kid, walking to town in a snowstorm b/c schools were closed. One tiny little street & everyone knew everyone aka Cheers. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin"><br>
Now, GAH, there's even suburbs of Redmond. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> My folks moved out 3 years ago and I could hardly even recognize the Novelty Hill area at the end.<br><br>
But, hey, it is an AWESOME area to live! Sooo much green and soo much stuff to do.

I actually live on Novelty Hill--I'm probably one of the people that made it so unrecognizable. It's a great place to live in some ways. In other ways I hate my neighborhood<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">
