This is really foreign to me. This is baby #4 and I've never had this many BH contractions with any of my other pregnancies. It's crazy! Does having a lot of BH mean anything about when the baby will come? Or is this just some random thing that means nothing? Is it because it's baby #4? Or does having a lot of BH mean the baby will come earlier or that labor will be faster (I hope not faster!)? Anyone have experience with this?

My labors are relatively quick (2.5 - 3.5 hours), and I've never gone past my due date (6 days early, 5 days early, and on my due date). I've just never felt this crammed full of baby (that's the best way to describe it -- lol) and had so many BH before!

Of course, now that I wrote this post, you just know I'll be sitting here at 42 weeks still pregnant. Really, though, I'm under no delusion that I'll be going early. Just wondering if there is a correlation between frequency of BH and baby arriving or duration of labor? (I am a little concerned about the length of labor because I don't want it to be too fast. My midwife is at least an hour away.)
