I am over 37 weeks and have sorta been preparing for the baby. Today I have been having Cx every 5 minutes
. I have been thinking i feel so good, hardly any BH that I will go over 40 weeks. Um, I am quickly packing a hospital bag. I just washed the baby clothes. I don't have any diapers! I don't even have towels in the car in case my water breaks! I even forgot to enter my doula's # into my phone. Wow, talk about denial.

Uh-oh! hehe I'd do the doula in the phone and the hospital bag real quick then prioritize what HAS TO be done from there.

Do you do disposable diapers? If so, no biggie. Send hubby out to get some before you get home. The hospital will give you the rest of the bag that you open at the hospital.

GOOD LUCK!

Hope you get it all packed. Just toss towels on top to take with to your vehicle. Thanks for the reminder bc I have a few disposable things from DS2's hospital I can find instead of towels.

Alright! Here is what I have ready now:
  • hospital bag packed
  • Doula's phone numbers
  • pump parts sanitized
  • waterproof pads for cars
  • made lists for home so DH and guests are not clueless

I have a shopping list for tomorrow. I feel like I am in better shape, but I had plans to clean the house, hopefully I will get to it this week before the real deal. These CX could go on for days! I really wanted to hold out until 40 weeks, however if I went now I could have a smaller baby, that would make me happy

Tuesday I have my next appt, I am tempted to get my dilation checked. To do or not to do? With DS my labor started with my water breaking (gushing)and I was only dilated 1 cm.

I bet you're dilated.

*shrug* But not like it means anything... you could either get your hopes up or be disappointed for no reason. I'd say, only do it if you feel like it
