Has anyone had a home birth in the Fort Drum area? My husband is in the Army and we just found out that we will be stationed there. We have a 2 year old who was born at a freestanding birth center with a direct entry midwife, and definitely would like a home birth this time around. I'm not pregnant yet and probably won't try to get pregnant if a home birth won't be possible while we're stationed there. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad"><br><br>
I've been searching the internet for midwives there and haven't been able to find any. Thanks for any help!<br><br>

*Edit* I would prefer a licensed midwife so it'd be easier to bill Tricare, but would pay out of pocket if there weren't any other options.
