Has anyone ever tried making their own dryer sheets using natural oils or anything? I'm not interested in the anti-static effect, but more of a natural linen freshening effect. Now that it's hot and humid, everything has that nasty musty smell whether I dry it on the line, or in the dryer...ick.
What I'm wondering is could you put a few drops of something (like tea tree oil, etc) on a cloth wipe and let it roll around with the clothes, or would a non-oil idea be safer? I'm not interested in using lavender water, BTW--dh can't deal with that smell, and it's not my favorite, either.
Anyone tried something like this? Or are there any products out there that you've used that are natural?
It's getting hot, humid and stinky around here with all this humidity...
