My son has expressed interest in being home schooled. I can not home school him, we clash, I've tried it. And unfortunately it doesn't "work" for us.

Are there any Co-ops or mom's who take in other children for lessons?

My son in currently in Kindergarten in a local public school.

(Oh, I don't live there yet, but should be by this summer)

I don't know of much...but there are probably others who could help more. I do know there is a lovely "Nana" of a local mom who teaches a Waldorf inspired class. I think they only meet once a week or so, though. I think it's been on hold for a little while but they're starting back up soon. Whether or not it will continue after you've arrived, well I don't know!

So, how's that for very little help? You may try connecting with the "leader" of a local NFL playgroup. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FamilyPlaytimeSC/

You don't have to join the Yahoo group, but you can find her info there.

Good luck!

thank you Mandy!!

I am becoming increasingly frusterated with his school. Granted we aren't in the area yet. But I've asked them repeatedly to only give him the food that I send with him.

today during a graphing excersize (keep in mind this is kindergarten so it was "how much of what color do you have" THEY GAVE HIM SKITTLES!!!

And then wonder why he doesn't behave 20 minutes later.
