Hi ladies,<br><br>
My little one (16 mos) bruised his toe. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/greensad.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="greensad"><br>
I would like to give him some homeopathic arnica to try to soothe the discomfort. I have the Boiron 30C Arnica Montana pellets from the hfs, and the label says "children and adults, 5 pellets, 3 times a day". Is this safe for a big 16 m.o., or should I lower the dosage? Also, I have the arnica ointment, HPUS 1X. Can I apply that topically?? I am still learning about homeopathy, so any info you ladies have would help!! Thank you so much and God bless.<br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/love.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="love"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up"><br>

I've given lots of homepathic remedies (including Arnica) to my kids and they've always been okay. I usually give a smaller dose. I usually start out with a low dosage (1 or 2) when I try a new remedy but after I know they are okay with it, I have increased it depending on the severity of the incident.

Thank you, ladies!<br><br>
I put the arnica gel on ds's toe, and it seems to be doing all right. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up"> I may try giving a low dose (one or two pellets) of the hp arnica later today.<br><br>
Thank you again! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin"><br>
