nak....please excuse typing.....

my dh and i will be moving to olympia sometime next month with our newborn. dh will be working in auburn and seattle-does anyone have a homeopathic practitioner or holistic practitioner they recommend in either area? ive put off taking arlo to one here-and have just been taking him to my MW-of course i would find one now but hes doing great and isnt going to be vaccinated.

Not a holistic/homeopathic practitioner by title but my dd's ARNP Michelle Hayes aka "Mickey," owner of Fir Creek Pediatrics in University Place is as close as I could find in our area- she was actually recommended by a dear friend and fellow MDC granola mom. She is the only provider I have heard of in the Tacoma area that supports not vaccinating, she also came highly reccomended by our mw. Good luck--please post if you find someone else!

My naturopath, Patricia Allen 360-491-8877, in lacey on Martin Way & Carpenter. Uses lots of homeopathics and emphasizes on finding food allergies. Wasn't sure I'd want a non-mom doc for kids at first, but I think the fact that she doesn't have kids of her own is kind of a good thing because she tends to trust my mother's instinct instead of how she did things, kwim?

I don't believe she does homepathic, but my MW used to practice with another MW who just got certified as a family practitioner. I just recently met her, her name is Kim Riano, and she's really nice! I plan on making her our new family dr. and pedi for my daughter. She's non vaxed, and so on and I've had pretty bad luck with her pedi's. I can't wait to start seeing Kim. I don't have her number right now, but my MW could give it to you. My MW's name is Audrey Levine 360-709-0888. And again the Practictioner's name is Kim Riano. I believe her office is in McCleary, which is about 15 west of Olympia. GOod luck!!
