Hi,

I am wondering if there are any options to help my LO calm down at times. She is almost 7 months. We are working to get a handle on some health issues that have plagued us since she was 4 weeks. She has possible food allergies, severe delayed gastric emptying, both causing severe reflux. She also has something unidentified that is causing her to not break down anything but Neocate. We spent months trying to nurse (my first two BF-ed 2-4 yrs each) with a specialist, after a couple months on a TED she was still very ill, but not allergy type symptoms. It was decided she wasnt breaking down any protein. Fastforward to half a year later, we gave her a taste of solid food and it made her very sick. Many many food trials later, same result. She won't process anything as all. So after chiro, craniosacral, etc etc, we started on meds and are currently trying get the right med combo to make her comfortable. She goes in Thurs for a feeding study and a study for her kidneys to see if they are affecting her inability to process foods.

Anyway.....she is uncomfortable a lot. I have never once...not a single time, been able to just rock her to sleep, because she won't relax. She wakes ever 10-30 min all night long, uncomfortable. She is just so agitated from everything.

Are there any homeopathy options that may just help her relax a bit when it is particularly bad, while we are trying to figure this all out?

i'd suggest finding a homeopath locally or going to see a naturopath who also does homeopathy. part of the goal is to treat the whole person, not just any particular symptoms. it's really really hard to recommend a direction without seeing the client/patient because one can pick up a lot just by watching.

that said, you could try cell salts. i'd start with regular bioplasma but for the relaxation, also include mag phos. use as directed on the package. you could also try epsom salt baths.
