I have officially wittled a nice, sufficient stash down to a tiny stash of dipes that I like. My baby grew out of 4 more dipes over the weekend, and we now have to wash every other day again!

Just when I thought the stash was settled!

So it looks like this selling to buy practice is not very sustainable, huh?

Anybody else sell/trade themselves down to the bones?

I'm gonna have to sing on the street to get some funds for more diapers at this rate.....

That is when I turn to my trusty prefolds... multi-purpose, one size fits for a long time and INEXPENSIVE

the only cpf's that I have that aren't sold are dyed infant cpf's that sit in my drawer and look pretty and wait for the next babe to come along some day.....

We did. Just the ones I love. We would love to have more and wash less often. I have enough for Aubrey for 2 days and Pietey for 1.5 days. but now I know what to buy and what works for us! 9when we get more money!) :LOL

part of the problem is that I came home from work to a pile of stuffed pockets on the floor next to the diaper pail that I had to unstuff every evening, and it drove me CRAZY, so I discovered aio's.....

there is really soemthing to be said about loving the diapers that you have, though. I'm so in love with my current stash!

use those pretty infant prefolds and pins! Heck, I can STILL pin an infant on ds (36lbs or more, I quit counting) and it works just fine-and looks cute too, kinda speedo-ish, but super duper trim and cute.
if any of your aios are the quick dry variety, infant prefolds make great extra soakers when just trifolded and layed in the shell. i agree that i'd rather have a small stash of dipes i loved than a huge number of dipes i'd rather not use!

I have lots of extra soakers, which I use when I'm home, but which get used in a laughable and ridiculous assortment of ways while I'm away
