Honeymoon in Vega!

Dh and I will be honeymooning in Vegas, and the Bryce Canyon area in from Oct 8th -Oct 14th. Where is a nice, clean, and reasonable place to stay in Vegas. Doesn't have to be on the strip. Any must sees or places to stay the heck away from? Tips? Tricks? Suggestions?

Any info on the Bryce Canyon area?
