Anyone who's working to end Medicaid funding of circumcision should highlight this issue in your letters - newborns are very vulnerable to infections from circ, which will then end up costing Medicaid BIG time.

Thanks for posting this, Quirky. I know that Doctors Opposing Circumcision came out with a really good statement about newborns getting MRSA infection from circumcision. MRSA (methicillin resistant staphylococcus aurei) is rampant in N. American hospitals now.<br>
