wow, there is a heat wave in the CA Bay Area! It leaves me wondering how to take all the care precautions with baby? Does he need to nurse more to get more fluids? We are dressing super light at night, only a thin onesie. The fan is on too. Anything else I should be aware of concerning babies and hot weather??

yes....be aware of the heat rash
Put some talc or corn starch into all those little folds on the arms and in the crease of the neck....change clothes often, and be careful that the baby is not sweaty and under the fan, also if you are breastfeeding exclusively make sure that YOU drink lots of water so that your milk will quench the LO's thirst. If you have started solids offer the cup with water often
