Decisions decisions. I cannot make up my mind. I already have a hotsling that I bought when my first daughter was born. I want to get a new one because the one I have has no stretch and no padding. It was a limited edition tattoo flash one that I just had to have. Well, after all this time I have finally decided to retire it and get one with stretch and padding because I'm tired of seeing my baby girl with those awful red marks on the backs of her legs when I take her out. THe peanut shell and hotsling seem basically the same. Is there much of a difference? Does anyone have a preference? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. I can't make up my mind and it's driving me batty.
: I need an outsider's opinion to help me out. Thanks.

I prefer the Hotslings. I love that DD doesn't get the red marks on her legs and they're very comfortable & stylish. The stretch cottons are my favorite. It's so cute because DD will grab the sling when she wants to be in it. I have the Sweet Pea and Ocean Hibiscus prints and am definitely looking forward to the new fall prints.

Do you know what patterns you like? Maybe that would help narrow it down.

I had a fleece Peanut Shell and loved it, but had to send it back b/c it started to tear near the pocket. The owner of the site I bought from said it happened to very few of them. Seemed to me the fleece is good only if you wear form-fitting shirts...the fabric clung and was difficult to adjust. Once in place, though, it was super comfortable long term.

I have only had hotslings, and the pouches I make myself which are similar.

I have tried on a peenut shell and found the sizing to be very much on the small side.

I prefer hotslings
