Since most docs do not test for it and symptoms look like a cold at first, did you just "know" what it was, or did you not know until the cough started? What did your child's symptoms look like in the beginning of it? I am asking because I have a 1 yr old who is sick and it is just a bit different than previous colds. WC has been sort of common in our area this year. My baby has been sick for only a couple of days, but he normally gets what I have and this time I am not sick (yet). He has a very runny nose, 99F temp and very constricted breathing and a cough (not croupy though). He is wheezing while sleeping and very restless during the day and night. I know it is probably not WC, but just curious!
