I want to get my hair cut tomorrow with bangs like these. I have no way to print out the photos. So how do I describe these bangs to my hair person? Usually when I ask for a specific kind of bang, I end up getting something opposite (like way too short and thick). So I must be saying something wrong.<br><br>

thick side swept bangs that hit at your eyebrows. When I get bangs cut, they usually show me how much they are going to cut and how long they will be and I give them instructions. Also, have the stylist cut a little bit at a time until it is right. Most stylists I've ever had would rather take the extra time to get it right then to get it wrong quickly and have an unhappy customer.

Usually salons have a bunch of books and magazines in the waiting area. Get there a few minutes ealry and spin through them to see if you can find a photo there.

Do you have a digital camera or a camera on your cell phone? You could take a picture of the picture on the screen and show them that.

Thanks for the tips ladies. I am now sporting my new hair. Eight inches shorter (it's still past my shoulders though) and a set of new blue bangs! I kind of wish the bangs were done a bit thicker, but all in all I'm happy. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">
