When the individual berry is completely red, and it will taste sweet.
How do I know when my strawberries are ripe?
I'm growing strawberries in a pot. I have a bunch of them, and some of them are very red, but some are still green. When should I pick them (obviously I know not to pick the green ones)?

we pick them really red and some alittle pink still. the kids eat them up either way. we have to get to them first as i am finding that the little critters are getting a tasty treat if we don't pick for a couple days i find half eaten ones........LOL
