I bought a "Heart & Home" food dehydrator today at a garage sale but it didn't come with any instructions for use. I tried to google it's name but came up with nothing.

Does anyone know if "Heart & Home" operates under a different name, so taht I might be able to find the users manual online or at least be able to contact the company?

I don't know that specific dehydrator, but with the ones that I've used, it's pretty basic. Slice some fruit, lay it on the trays, and turn it on! I find it works best to flip them and rotate every few hours. The times depend on the type of fruit or veggie, the thickness, the humidity of where you are, etc. Just give it a go! We love dried strawberries, peaches, apples, blueberries.

A great book: Mary Bell's Complete Dehydrator Cookbook
