Seroously what is your bidding stragedy when you see a hyena type diaper? Of course if you are willing to give up that info. eyes
The reason I ask. I have a pretty popular dipe on Ebay and I have 30 people watching and no bids(only day 2). I know it will sell OK I just find it kind of amusing to see so many moms out there watching this item. Do you all plan to bid on day 7 or does everyone just watch to see what the price will be at?
Just curious on how everyone bids.

Hi Pamela!!!

I think I'm watching your auction out of curiosity but you'll see the big bids come in at the end... good luck!!!

I wait until the last possible moment (which, unfortunately, because my computer is so slow, is about a minute before the auction ends) and then I put in the absolute maximum amount of money that I would be willing to pay for the item. This is the best way to keep from getting sniped.

I'm watching it too :

but I never bid before the last 30 seconds of an auction.
I just wait until the very end and throw in the max that I am willing to pay for it

I'm not worried about it selling, I'm just am in awe on how popular certain diapers are. I wish my dd wasn't so big because it is a way cute dipe.

It's almost just has fun to sell popular diapers as it is to buy them...ok well not quite :LOL

I'm having fun seeing how many moms will put it on their watch list.

Bidding on something when it still has 5 days left is crazy! I'll never understand...

That's probably why there are 30 people watching and no bids. I do the same as Sustainer, too.

I always place a bid on something that I am interested in. I would rather it go on my bidding list rather than wait for me to maybe check my watching list.

I'm an ebay wuss! I don't want to worry about being online when the items end. I put the bid in early, and if I get outbid, oh well. I'm like the two people who have bid already.

Maybe this is why I hardly ever win an auction!

It just depends with me. Right now I've got a bid in on a pair of wool shorts that ends tomorrow.

I don't get into the bidding at the last second because I never remember to go bid and I end up missing it entirely.

I usually watch it for a few days and then jump in with my max bid before I chicken out. It makes me a nervous wreck when I'm the one selling though! to watch a beloved item just sitting there with no bids.

Now I'm DYING to know which diaper it is. Please tell me!

I never bid before the last 30 seconds of the auction. I have special bidding software that does it for me. What I TRY to do is decide what the max is I'm willing to pay, and put that in as my max bid, and if I'm outbid, oh well. But if it's a special item (like a particular item I'm watching now), I put a crazy high bid in to make sure I'm the highest bidder. It's terrible!

I get auction fever sometimes, I admit it.

Well, I am one of those people who do bid early. If I don't, I forget. I just put in how much I am willing to pay, if I get outbid - whatever, it wasn't meant to be. I think if I really tried to do it any other way, it would be a big problem for me - I end up spending more than I really want to on stuff just so I could 'win'. I actually don't mind all of you snipers..

And I was sure you were the one selling the Fussybutt... :LOL

I got sick of being sniped, so now I'm the sniper rather than the snipee. : I use auctionsnipe.com, which puts in my max bid 5 seconds before the end of the auction.

I'm another one that waits til the last minute. The only time I bid early is when there's a reasonable BIN that I want knocked off. Bidding early just ups the end price imo

When you wait til the very last minute you're also less likely to get involved in a bidding war me thinks.
