Hi Mamas. My daughter, who hasn't used her nightime diaper for almost a month peed in our bed this week. We didn't have any towel under her...so now it's in the futon mattress. Yikes!

You can use borax to remove urine odors. We've used it whenever dd had an accident, and we don't have any lingering odors. Sprinkle some borax on the stain, dampen it and rub it in. Once it dries, vacuum it off. Just make sure any pets or kids don't have access to it until you vacuum it up, because although it's natural, it's also poisonous to ingest.
