if you have finished week 8, and are now in the middle of week 9, would you call yourself 8 or 9 weeks?

what about month wise, if you've finished 2 months but are in your 3rd, would you say 2 or 3?

It doesn't really matter, but I was just thinking about it as I was adjusting my ticker

This topic drives me nuts! I'm now 10 weeks and 4 days.

On 9wk6d, I call myself 9 weeks.
Next day is 10 weeks.
Next day is 10wk1d - "in the 11th week."

I'd now call myself 2 months, but say "in the 3rd month."

All these details are on my calendar. I can't keep up!

I agree with this, and while we're on the subject, does everyone else count the trimesters like this:

1st: 1-13
2nd: 14-27
3rd:28-40

I have on my calendar: 12wk = last day of first tri, 12wk1d = first day of second tri. But I have no idea if I'm right.

Interesting....I just found more than a few websites that start the 2nd tri at week 13 and others that start it at week 14. I thought it was week 14 myself but I am not sure where I picked that one up. Does anyone have any medical background out there to tell us for sure? How about the 3rd tri also.

THANKS

Shiloh are you counting from conception or from the first day of AF?

I just figured the trimesters were evenly split (well 3x13=39)... and we start with week 1, so... clear as mud? I have no idea about the medical factor in it.
