with the winter months approaching, and our wallets (and environmental minds) not letting us max out the heat, I'm having a hard time giving ds, 21 months, much needed diaper free time and keeping him warm at the same time....we do slippers, leg warmers, and multiple layers on top...but I don't know if that's enough....and concurrently, when I don't see him in the ready position, sometimes all of those warm items becomes soiled/wet warm items.....so frustrating! Maybe some tricks of the trade, or even gentle coddling into potty time would be helpful....Could I put a wool cover on and call it underwear? hmmm.....just thinking out loud here.....
Dear Kyara,

What's the rush? It's winter! Why bother doing it now? And he's not 2 yet.

I'd wait 'til summer if I were you. Actually, I wouldn't dream of potty training any child before spring time.

Keep us posted.
