DD is 7 months old, and until now she has just worn a cotton sleep gown, and we put her own little blankets over her (she sleeps between us). This worked perfectly well, as DD slept very still - no movement or sound unless she was waking up. Lately, however, she's started to trash about in her sleep, kicking her blankets off, and last night ended up sleeping with her head on my pillow, and her feet in DH's face. Trouble is, although room was resonably warm, she was very cold. So I'm wondering what to dress her in. We only use natural fibers, preferably organic for her. Should I get her a sleeping bag? Or would that be a risk of overheating or something when co-sleeping? What do you dress your LO in?

what about a sleeper/jumper with feet? or a one piece jumper thing with socks? it's hazy now but i think that's what i did for ds who used to migrate towards the head of the bed between dh and i.

Dd never moved around much, but she always kicked blankets off. I just dressed her warmly, generally in soft cotton long sleeves, leggings, socks, layers if necessary. Maybe a nice, thick sleep sack would work, if your lo wouldn't get mad about not being able to move (crawl, scoot, whatever). I also just slept near her and shared blankets except when she was in the co-sleeper.

a footied jumper or one of those 'sleep bags' should do it <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up">

A warm set of sheets for your bed would be good too, flannel or something(natural or organic of course!<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">)!
