I'm having the hardest time keeping money in my paypal account thanks to you all at MDC

I just transferred money into the account from my checking account which took forever to clear. I purchased several diapers this week so now I"m down to about $10 again.
What is the best way to get money into my paypal (I'm not selling anything right now so I can't do it that way). Or is this just a sign telling me to stop buying diapers?

You dont have to transfer the money first before buying something. When you make the payment on the wahm web site it should go through as an e-check. when it clears the product would go in the mail. (been awhile since I have done it this way)
To make it funded you need to add a credit card as a back up. The money doesnt come from your cc (unless you tell it to) but it allows paypal to send the payment instantly (not e-check) and the money still comes from your checking.

I have it linked to my checking account, too. I have a credit card on file as backup for them, but I don't have to use it if I don't want to.

Thanks, I didn't know that! I am always having to wait for eChecks to clear before people ship to me, because I don't usually have funds just sitting there. I will have to link up my CC now!

You guys are great! I didn't know I could use a cc as back-up for an instant transfer. It takes days (feels like weeks) for the e-check to clear and about the same amount of time for money to transfer from the checking account. So I was losing either way. I'll def. sign up to add my cc as a back-up. Then, I'll really be dangerous. One of the perks of being single, no dh to restrain me.

It's not something you have to sign up for, you just need to "add" it
When you sign in go to profile and it should be under financial information.
If you have a visa check card you can use that too (even though it's not a real cc it works)

Whew, thanks for this post and all the great info, ladies! I was just worrying about a co-op payment I need to make, and wondering if it would be considered an e-check, even though I never see the term when I use PP. I've got my CC (err, debit card!) as backup, so that must be the difference. So glad to have that cleared up!

I definitely don't have enough to sell to fully fund my PP spending! :LOL

Be forewarned - having your pp linked to your checking account can be a dangerous proposition!

Dd may not have a college fund, but at least her butt is well-covered!!!

I work part-time now so I no longer have to sell dipes in order to buy dipes

I also have my checking account linked to paypal. Dh and I have separate accounts, his $$ is for the whole family and my checking account (whatever I make at my new job that I love) is for me to buy things for my family that may not be necessary, but I love to buy my kids things and diapers, etc..
